Category: Hat
In 1991, Barry Barr was fishing off the wild Alaskan coast when a gust of wind blew his hat into the sea. Inspired by this incident, he created a hat that would never fall off. Today, nearly 30 years later, the hat is still hand-cut and hand-sewn in Seattle by the same family, ensuring its longevity and durability.
Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, our hat uses only the highest quality materials. It features a beefy nylon tubular webbing with a 4,000 lb breaking point, a KAVU d-ring adjustment, and five 43-stitch bar tacks. The heat-laminated underbill and four-panel design are secured with 1" grosgrain-covered internal seams, ensuring the hat lasts for many years of use.
This year, our hat is even more eco-friendly, made with 100% certified organic cotton. This environmentally conscious choice is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, offering durability and a soft, comfortable feel. The organic cotton fabric performs well in all conditions, ensuring your hat remains reliable and comfortable.
Available in three sizes (S, M, L) with head circumferences of S (22.5”-24"), M (23.5”-25"), and L (24.5”-26"), the ALPHA Easy fit size ensures a perfect fit. The low-profile, 3.5" crown height, with a slight curved bill and black underbill, provides a classic look suitable for all occasions. The patterned nylon tubular webbing and KAVU adjustment make it easy to find the perfect fit for any head size.
Designed with ruggedness and reliability in mind, our hat is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers. Its 4-panel design, 1" grosgrain-covered internal seams, and heat-laminated underbill provide excellent protection against wear and tear. The beefy nylon tubular webbing with a 4,000 lb breaking point and five 43-stitch bar tacks ensure the hat stays securely in place, even in harsh conditions.
